Victory, Independence, Salvation — the language of gifts on public holidays
8 November, 28 May, 15 June, 18 October, 31 December — each date has its own meaning and its own tone in a corporate gift.
Azerbaijan's public holidays gather around four main dates. 28 May — Independence Day, the proclamation in 1918 of the first democratic republic in the East. 15 June — National Salvation Day, Heydar Aliyev's return to power in 1993. 18 October — the restoration of independence in 1991. 8 November — Victory Day, the liberation of Shusha in 2020. 31 December — Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
On a public holiday, a corporate gift speaks a different language: here it is not sweetness but respect and statehood that come first. The colours are calm, the presentation is formal, and the selection turns to the bounty of the land — Ordubad's own produce. A chest sent for Victory Day shows a company's attitude to the state.
Ordubad Bazar's public holiday presentation keeps to this tone: only a monogram and a date on the lid, Ordubad's finest produce inside, and a short history of the holiday on the accompanying card. The recipient receives not just a chest but a history lesson too.
